Looking out: the cloud's getting bigger now/ it's time to get ready now

24 oceans, 24 skies
24 failures in 24 tries
24 finds me in 24th place
24 dropouts at the end of the
day(s)

Here's a tough question...Guess how many days are left?!

Yesterday had only one journal-worthy event after work. I went to Taco Bell in Henrietta (yes, Brad, the staff took 5 years to order my food and another 5 to make it. One dude there had a geeky hat that said 'Customer maniac'...he was the only guy to work hard) for dinner. Then I picked up Liz at her house that was literally right down the road. I met her little brother in the driveway, and he seemed really neat.

I drove us to Java's in the city after getting only slightly lost and finding myself leading us in to a shadier part of Rochester. We were out of there within minutes of me locating the inner loop (yey). We spent the whole night talking about life, loves, religion, and school. It was so refreshing to talk to someone relatively new, just because there's such a huge scope of stuff to talk about. Liz is a very special and interesting person. I think we'll be hanging out even more in days to come.

UNO super-awesome rain/thunderstorm yesterday
DOS homeless guys who asked us for money last night
TRES times this week I have wanted to move to South America
CUATRO plastic spoons poking out of my Dodge Ram mug
CINCO months until I graduate!
SEIS pages full of builder lingo that I've re-keyed for the safety program at work so far

SIETE smartypants LJ readers who can probably translate how much 'siete' is

OCHO icons on my taskbar

NUEVE years until I'm 28

DIEZ letters between my first and middle name

Ok, how many of you used your fingers to count that last one...be honest...

Sorry it's been so long............

Well, Papa's gone back to work so I'm back. I have been looking in when I can though. So thank you for the daily diary. It really is awfully important to me to keep up. I'm glad you had a nice time last night. Be careful when you're out and about, please. Not every place is as benign as Clarkson.

Any new ideas about your car? I hope you're able to come up with easy (and cheap) answers for that.

Anyway, as I was thinking about you today, I realized that it's been too long since I told you how proud of you I am. I love you so much, Honey.

Let me know if you're coming Thursday night and what you're doing with Brad Friday.

Re: Sorry it's been so long............

Hey!

Yes, I am coming over Thursday night (yay). First, I plan to put him in the oven at about 400 degrees Farenheit. Then, I might sautee some mushrooms and make a salad of that and BACON, his favourite. Maybe I'll put in some MOSQUITOS for extra flavour.

Nah, we're just going to tie up the kids to poles in Kelly's basement and go gallavanting around Pittsford by ourselves. Maybe something like that.

I promise, Mom. You never have anything to fear with me. :-D
